Owner: Mark Safferstone – Max, our almost 3 year old rescue Golden mix (Golden, Husky, Great Pyrenees).
He was a year old when we got him in May 2017 and he’s a wonderful addition to our family and home. He has all of the Golden attributes we came to love and enjoy after having 5 pure bred Golden’s over 35 years – affectionate, attentive as well as smart. Fortunately, when he came to us from southern Alabama through Sunshine Golden Rescue, he was leash trained and housebroken and he’s never chewed or ruined shoes, clothing or furniture! He has such a wonderful temperament and personality that my wife Sharon is training him to be a therapy dog. In our home and hearts, he’s a true winner!
